How To Ethically Adopt a Child From Another Country?
Your first step in adopting internationally is to contact a Hague accredited adoption service provider. You may require the services of several agencies in the adoption process, including a local agency to conduct your home study and a Primary Provider – the agency specializing in adoptions from the country you intend to adopt a child from. Your Primary Provider must be accredited under the Hague Convention on intercountry adoptions.

We have also provided you with a list of LICENSED ADOPTION AGENCIES BY STATE to assist you in selecting an agency to perform your home study.
These agencies are not accredited but are well-qualified to provide you with the required local home study services. We have listed those adoption service providers who support the goals and efforts of SAVE ADOPTIONS in bold italics.
In addition, we have provided you with information on what to do if it becomes necessary to change adoption service providers.
