Save Adoptions Requests Extension on Public Comment on Proposed Changes to Regulations

On Nov 20, 2020, the Department of State issued a notice on their website about proposed changes to the regulations governing intercountry adoption and invited public comment.
The Department’s deadline for providing public comment is January 19, 2021.
Save Adoptions and several of its partnering agencies are asking for a 60 days extension to this deadline so that the adoption community would have a reasonable opportunity to effectively respond.
